​ The program is based on Christian values and provides experiences that enhance each child's social, emotional, physical and creative development. Children develop a positive self-esteem through a balance of self-and-teacher-directed activities, including solitary play, group activities, interacting within their environment and learning about their community.
Philosophy
At Sonshine, we feel that children should be given every chance to grow and learn during the first years of their life (0-5). We believe that children need to be in a caring, nurturing environment where they can learn through play. Children grow so much in these first years. Did you know that by age 3 a child’s brain is 75% developed and by age 5, 90% developed? We are excited to be a part of preparing children for their future and getting them ready and excited for kindergarten and beyond.

SonShine Learning Center is state licensed for children 1-12 years of age, DES certified, and is a 4 Star – Quality Plus rated school through the Quality First program of First Things First.
